What Are Universal EV Charger Foundations?
Universal pre-cast concrete EV charger foundations are specially designed and manufactured products that serve as the base for EV charging stations. These foundations are typically made of high-strength concrete and are pre-cast in a controlled factory environment. They can be easily transported and installed at various locations, making them a versatile solution for EV charging infrastructure.
What we do
The EV Block simplifies EV charge point installation. Its precast concrete foundation along with a universal adaptor plate streamlines the process. Eliminating the traditional installation process of “waiting for concrete to cure” that can result in unnecessary costs and disruptions.

Trevor Palmer
Founder & Inventor of EV Blocks
Founder and Inventor of EV Blocks, Trevor has installed numerous EV charge points in the UK through in his 20+ years as an electrical contractor.
Trevor observed businesses’ challenges with excavation, cement pouring for plinths, and fixing arrangements firsthand. Wanting to simplify his customers’ lives, he invented the EV Block, a precast EV foundation that accelerates installation process.
The Precast Forte Group
Outside of the UK and Ireland, EV Blocks is available through local precast concrete producers that are licensed by The Precast Forte Group.
Forte specializes in precast innovations. Its portfolio of solutions has grown to include new proprietary designs, external licensing services, and marketing tools – each serving a distinct segment within the precast world. This parent entity was formed to afford Recon and each of its sister companies (Light Pole Base, EV Blocks, and Rethink Precast Marketing) a clear path to serve their customers.
